• The Kokomo Sear Zone uses a large number of small flames to heat Our stainless steel cooking grids to very high temperatures, very quickly. The super-heated stainless element emits infrared radiation, which rapidly sears and browns the food, giving it a delicious crust. 

• Infrared gas grills are FAR hotter than conventional units. The grilling temperature can easily reach 1800 degrees. This gives you the flexibility of having a quick barbeque. 

• Works on all Kokomo Grills

• Infrared Sear Burner can be used for all Kokomo Grill models. You can replace a standard grill burner with a sear burner in your Kokomo grill by taking the small pin in the back of the burner out, and removing the burner, replacing it with your new sear unit. The Kokomo Infrared sear burner produces a powerful 12,000 BTU output to produce extreme heat for searing purposes.
